The client is a Polish company seeking to create a platform for energy suppliers and producers, enabling them to search for energy resources easily. Their goal was to simplify energy procurement, making it more effective for businesses.
The identified challenge was the absence of a dedicated B2B platform for energy sourcing in the Polish market. The client aimed to streamline and simplify energy procurement processes, acknowledging the need for an effective solution for businesses in the energy sector.
To address the challenge, the client developed a closed-model B2B platform that required users to submit applications, including NDAs, for approval. Administrative control was maintained, and new clients were manually added. The platform featured unique sorting preferences for energy procurement orders, categorized energy supply offers, facilitated negotiations, and allowed users to compare proposals through parameter manipulation. It assessed financial benefits and risk profiles, enabling users to upload CSV files for comparison charts and negotiate deals using a term sheet.
The business result was the creation of an advanced marketplace that significantly enhanced the efficiency and transparency of energy procurement processes. The platform offered a seamless experience for contract negotiation and management, contributing to the growth of the energy sector in Europe. Despite lacking a digital contract signing feature, the platform's contract management tools provided widgets for summarizing and tracking invoices within each contract, reinforcing its impact on improving overall processes in the energy procurement landscape.
