Heirlume, a distinguished legal consulting firm, wanted to enhance its online presence. The primary objective was the creation of a highly-customised web application, with a focus on localisation-specific content catering to users from different regions. Additionally, the aim was to strengthen the website's SEO, accessibility, and user experience. A key component of the project involved integrating a bespoke trademark checking system seamlessly into the website, streamlining the process for users to check, reserve, and safeguard trademarks.
The development journey faced several challenges, with the foremost being the creation of an application featuring intricate and highly customised designs. Ensuring visual appeal across various web browsers, mobile devices, and resolutions added complexity to the development process. Integrating a secure payment solution, connecting to a database, and seamlessly integrating with HubSpot presented another set of challenges, demanding reliability and speed to meet the client's requirements.
In response to the challenges at hand, a robust solution was crafted, resulting in a fast-working, SEO-optimised website built on Gatsby.js technology. The custom-designed frontend showcased intricate floating shapes that seamlessly adapted to diverse resolutions on both desktop and mobile platforms. The trademark search was successfully integrated, leveraging a connection to the database and a custom search engine. The checkout process was secured through the integration of the Stripe API, providing users with a secure and intuitive payment experience. The overall solution was tightly integrated with a CMS to facilitate easy content management.
The impact of the project was notable, with Heirlume expressing satisfaction with the improved speed, professional code, scalability, and maintainability of the website. The results demonstrated the successful alignment of the developed solution with the client's design and functionality requirements.
