BodyO is a UAE startup with the desire to build software that identifies body fat levels and detects conditions such as chronic heart disease and diabetes, which are very common for Arab region.

A full-body digital scanner was developed to track a wide range of vital human parameters and provide training and dietary recommendations using collected data. Initially, the challenge was attempted by another team; however, the client was left feeling dissatisfied with the results. Consequently, the startup founder commissioned us to build a system from scratch.

Challenge

As usual in the Healthcare sector, the system’s main requirement was achieving advanced security and HIPAA compliance. The overall scope of work was split into two parts:
